Seperation of the Xbox 360 from TBAG LAN
The reason for us to exclude the Xbox 360 from our upcoming LAN is that at our two previous LAN's held at the Gameshelf, we had a very large lack of interest in participation on their behalf and anyone who was there either played single player games by themselves or watched others play single player games by themselves (such as Fable 2 or the odd moment of 2 separate Rock Band games going off on different songs). This is not what a LAN is for, it is meant for competitive and fun gaming time with others.
So we decided that it is just too much hassle for the small amount of people who would actually participate or participate to actually game. If someone else however is interested in setting up an Xbox 360 LAN I would be willing to help with what I could, although you would be in charge.

LAN Date
The date of our next LAN is set for April 7-8th and will start at 11:00am and end at 8:00pm on Sunday at the Oliver Road Community Center.
There will be more news to post regarding the date of the LAN. The times may vary a bit at this point.
Some things you will need to know now is that this LAN WILL have a entrance fee, but it will be fairly small and this is only to cover expenses for items such as food or LAN equipment and prizes.
This is a 2-day LAN and you will be able to stay the night and we will be locking the doors at a set time. However this means that we will need to enforce certain policies and behavior requirements strictly at this event. A draft of the LAN's "Rules and Expectations" will be posted soon.
This LAN will be restricted to PC's and an off-side DS event. The only exception will be one xbox 360 for games such as Rock Band.
You must bring your own equipment, however we would like to see you there so if there is something that you cannot bring to the LAN email me at cody@tbaglan.org to ask if I can provide you with my equipment, if you know about the lack of this equipment now I urge you to ask ahead of time since my supplies are limited.

Fallout 3 Review
It has been awhile since a game has really taken me into the story and feels truly unique. Ever since I heard of Fallout 3 I was very anticipated for it however when I finally got it I could not believe how great it was. The opening was masterful, much better than previous Bethesda games where you would just get thrown into the world with a bunch of menus and options to shape your character before actually playing. But even afterward in Oblivion or Morrowind you could just go off and do whatever you wanted with no concern about anything prior to your characters life. That is why when you are going through the stages of your childhood in Vault 101 that it is truly unique in that you get to experience "the good life" or what seems to be the best in The Capital Wasteland until those dreams are smashed and you are forced to enter the reality of the shit-hole world on the outside which really contrasts the opposite of living in the vault. But when you start playing the game you realize that the Vault wasn't perfect, that life needs its flaws to be great.
As you progress through the game you have many, many choices and after I conversed with other players, realized that no-one player ever has a similar experience. Although every unique experience is always leading down the the same main story-line, it doesn't matter cause every action from the beginning of the game up till the grand (and let me say it is really GRAND) ending effects the outcome. It is a ending that really makes you think about life, about the future and you feel as if you have really made some impact after all you have done. Whether or not that was a bad or good impact depends on how much of an asshole you are willing to be.
